Home Instead Sutton has become the first home care provider in the borough to be awarded a Care Quality Commission (CQC) outstanding rating.
Independent regulatory body the CQC highlighted in its report how well-led the company is, and how clients were treated with utmost respect and dignity.
The report also praised Home Instead for its personalised approach, particularly in matching caregivers to clients based on similar interests, ensuring that a meaningful and fruitful relationship develops.
Speaking about the important role the company has played during the pandemic, a clients relative said: “It has been a blessing for me as I can’t visit at the moment because he’s vulnerable and I am too. I could not have put him in better hands. It has been wonderful.”
The CQC also credited employee engagement and cited its low staff turnover rate.
