DESCRIPTION:From Hillsborough and Windrush to Grenfell\, the Infected Blood scandal and the Post Office Horizon scandal\, this free exhibition explores some of the most significant public scandals and miscarriages of justice in modern British history. \n\nVisitors will discover how individuals and communities fought for truth and accountability in the face of institutional failure\, and the lasting impact these events have had on public trust. \nPresented by the Independent Public Advocate in collaboration with the Centre for People’s Justice\, the exhibition also examines the proposed Duty of Candour and asks what lessons can be learned to ensure greater openness\, honesty and accountability when future tragedies occur. \nThe Tabernacle\, Notting Hill\n6 to 11 October\nFree admission\nOpen to all.

DESCRIPTION:Join Adi Shaah and his live band for an intimate evening of soulful bhajans\, uplifting kirtans and collective singing in the beautiful setting of OMNOM Islington. \nThe evening brings Kirtans and chants into a contemporary live setting\, with vocals\, harmonium\, and violin. Alongside the music there will be call-and-response singing\, moments of stillness and reflection\, and plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in. \nThe focus is very much on connection\, wellbeing and the uplifting effect of singing together – creating an experience that can be enjoyed regardless of religious background. \nWho is it for?\nEveryone is welcome. You do not need to be religious or have any previous experience of bhajans or kirtans. It is equally suited to those already familiar with this music and those experiencing it for the first time. \nAlso included: Complimentary tea will be served after the performance\, courtesy of OMNOM. \nWhat to expect: An intimate\, immersive and uplifting evening of live music\, participation\, reflection and connection – a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and simply sing\, breathe and connect.
