Summer Family Drop In Workshops at Sir John Soane’s Museum

To coincide with our current exhibition, Architects’ Houses, these family drop-in workshop will be inspired by designing and building your own dream houses!

Thursday 3rd August 2023, 2-4pm

Make Your Own Architect’s house:

Architect and collector Sir John Soane was fortunate enough to design and build his very own dream house, now it’s your turn! Make your own architect’s house with freelance teaching artist Caroline Dorset.

Booking Information:

These workshops are free to attend you can simply drop-in on the day or as part of your visit to the museum. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Activities are aimed at children aged 4+yrs but younger siblings are very welcome.

Please note this workshop will take place across the road from the Museum in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, unless it rains, in which case it will be moved to the Art Room in the basement of no. 14.

The stairs down to the Art Room are narrow and not suitable for buggies, which can be left outside. There is a baby change onsite. If you require wheelchair access, please get in touch with education@soane.org.uk in advance of your visit and we can arrange this for you.
