The concert marks 30 years since peace was declared in Bosnia and celebrates Firefly International’s mission supporting children affected by war. It is an evening of live global music, film, and stories from artists who have experienced conflict and displacement, highlighting resilience, hope, and the power of creative expression to unite communities.

The evening will feature incredible artists and performances, including:

• One World Orchestra – a vibrant ensemble blending diverse musical traditions from around the globe, celebrating multicultural collaboration and resilience.

• Bassel Hariri, Syrian violinist from Aleppo, combining Arabic classical, jazz, Celtic, and Gypsy influences, using music to preserve memory and challenge stereotypes.

• Aleksandra Bilić’s short film, The Score – telling the moving story of her mother Maja and the piano she was forced to leave behind when fleeing Sarajevo in 1992. Thirty years later, it reflects on displacement, memory, and the healing power of music.

• Hosted by journalist Phoebe Greenwood (The Guardian, Vice News on HBO), whose work in conflict zones brings additional depth to the stories shared.
